God is a Weapon

I don't think we understand how powerful prayer is. When we pray, we are communicating with the most powerful being in the world.

What happens when you spend a lot of time with your friend? Not only do you get really bored of him/her, but you often rub off of each other! For example, living with Andrea Ho for almost two years caused me to be awkward and weird...

With that same logic, what happens when you spend a lot of time with God? You don't get bored of him because there's so much to learn from him. However, he probably rubs off on you! I don't think God can rub off on me though...oh my gosh I can't imagine if God rubbed off on me.

We'd be like this...

If I were Pocahontas and God was John Smith, I really hope he rubs off of me. I really want to learn how to do that head thing...

Or this...

I bet it's fun watching Shark Week with God. Whenever there's a story about a shark killing someone, you can ask God if he still sees him/her. The truth might be depressing though...

ANYWAY, God rubs off on you. When we spend time reading scripture and talking to him, we become more like him. God has a lot of fantastic qualities: loving, caring, understanding, etc.

There is one quality that we forget about: power.

God is powerful.

Therefore the more we spend time with God, the more superpowers we get!

I mean no I can't be Thor but that's alright. However, if we ask for something under his will, he will give it to us!

Some Superpowers

  • Power of healing. God heals. Even doctors look at some of their patients and wonder how they're still alive. How? Power of healing!
  • Power of wisdom/discernment. Whenever we ask for direction, God somehow gives it to us.
  • Power of love. It's hard to love your enemies. Yet when we look to Christ and his sacrifice, we realize how undeserving we are of His love. When we understand this, somehow, we learn to love our enemies.
  • All fruits of the Spirit are superpowers.

God is a weapon, and don't be afraid to use Him

So this is my message to Satan:
