Moving out of my Apartment

I stalled the crap out of my mother.

I didn't want to leave immediately because I really didn't want to leave. Period. I picked her up at 8:45 and she asked me to take her to breakfast. I thought of Blu Jam Cafe for three reasons. ONE: The food is incredible. TWO: It takes 45 minutes to drive there. THREE: I knew that there would be a wait to get seated. As I'm driving her, she's complaining the entire time about the distance it took to get there. Perfect.

Unfortunately by the time we got to Blu Jam, there was no wait. Normally, it takes approximately 45 minutes to wait for a table. We were seated immediately. My mother made us order food as soon as possible so we can eat quickly and go to my apartment and pack.

Luckily, our order took forever. Like 45 minutes. They felt bad that we had to wait so long, so they gave me a tiny bowl of fruit to say sorry. I forgave them. My mother didn't because I didn't give her any of the fruit.

We finished eating around 10:45 and I drove her back to my apartment. I helped out in the beginning, but then I thought about it. If I help her, we finish moving out a lot faster. Instead, I decided to take a nap as she moved out for me. We (as in she) finished moving out for me at 1:30 and we were technically ready to go.

I begged her to eat dinner with my friends and she said yes. So for a good three hours, I made her sleep on the couch as I played with my friends.

We didn't begin eating dinner until 7:00 because my friends took a while. Although I was pissed at them for making us wait for them, I look back at it now and see that they helped me with my plan. Thank you Audrey, Esther, Enoch, Christina, Katrina, Marise, and Gabbie for taking forever to get to Sugarfish. It added more time for me to stay at UCLA.

Eventually after ice cream, a quick shower, and a bunch of sad hugs, we left Los Angeles at 9:40.
