France Day 2

Blessings of the Day
  1. Darkness in the sky contrasting against bright stars
  2. At least 10 different bird species clamoring outside
  3. A creek outside my backyard
  4. Gentle breeze rubbing tree leaves together making a "crunching" sound
  5. Mother's loud, booming, nasally voice
  6. The ability to hear these sounds
  7. Feeling cold. It's a blessing to "feel"
  8. Pink flowers and its contrast against green leaves
  9. Tulips
  10. My kindle reader
  11. Vision. How I'm able to see little things reflecting God's glory
  12. My mind never ceases from thinking
  13. The ability to pace back and forth to process something God has been teaching me
  14. The ability to walk
  15. Each step I take on the gravel makes a crunching sound
  16. Bread. French bread. Lord have mercy...
  17. My vision dimmed by and focused on God
  18. Some really cool crane outside
  19. Toast and goat cheese
  20. Clear skin
  21. Every individual tastebud on my tongue
  22. My fairy godmother
  23. My dad chanting to himself several times, "Love my daddy kiss my daddy." My response: *COUGH*COUGH* "Your words not mine."
  24. Evil geese. Like they gave me a death stare and charged at me.
  25. Rain. No droughts in France
  26. Bronzed chocolate eggs for Easter on sale for 30% off
  27. French people sing as they talk. Everyone says "Bonjour!!" and "Merci" in an operatic voice
  28. It's not as different here as I anticipated. Even though this is not home, I feel comfortable
  29. A French grocery store the size of Costco
  30. The smell of fresh veggies
  31. Rose bouquets for the romantics
  32. Aged meat
  33. Cheese blocks wider than your head.
  34. Foot-long prawns
  35. Bread. Everywhere
  36. Earplugs worn at lunch when you can't handle your mother's loud, booming nasally voice
  37. The ability to feel 'tired'
  38. My brother's camera 
  39. My father's cackling, booming, evil laugh
  40. Baby duckling protected by both Mamma Duck and Daddy Duck
  41. Evil goose attempting to stare me down. He won
  42. Screaming like an old man when the evil goose charged at me
  43. The sound of water flowing down a creek
  44. Stalking a small, orange cat for 10 minutes
  45. Getting on all fours to pet the cat
  46. WIFI that works
  47. A purring, vibrating, cackle sound of creek frogs
  48. Duck liver on bread
  49. Still ponds mirroring reality
  50. Lamp posts lighting up the pathway
