- French people sing as they talk. Everyone says "Bonjour!!" and "Merci" in an operatic voice
- It's not as different here as I anticipated. Even though this is not home, I feel comfortable

- Baby duckling protected by both Mamma Duck and Daddy Duck
- Evil goose attempting to stare me down. He won
- Screaming like an old man when the evil goose charged at me
- The sound of water flowing down a creek
- Stalking a small, orange cat for 10 minutes
- Getting on all fours to pet the cat
- WIFI that works
- A purring, vibrating, cackle sound of creek frogs
- Duck liver on bread
- Still ponds mirroring reality
- Lamp posts lighting up the pathway
