When Joanna was a little girl, her parents came home with six quails.
"Hey Joanna," says her father, "these are your new pets. We want you to feed them every morning."
Every morning Joanna would put food into their cage. The quails would peck at her skin and nip her, but she eventually formed a bond with these quails. She named one of them Poopie because it had bird poop on its beak.
One day, she comes home and the quails were gone. In panic, she freaks out and asks her mother about them. Her mother replied, "We set them free into the park."
But that night they had "baby chickens" for dinner.
Two years later, her mother finally confessed that the six quails were served for dinner that night. Joanna shrieks in horror, "Oh no I ate Poopie!"
