This is a true story...
I won a lavender-colored-bobble-waterbottle from sophomore Steph Fong. After I got it, I bragged about how awesome that thing was. I convinced most of my pole studio to get one. Owning this bobble made me realize how awesome of a salesman I am.
But then...I left it in my TA's office.
I almost forgot about it until the third week of Winter Break...
My TA uses the bobble as a conversation starter and emails me.
It lead him to ask me to watch a movie with him to which I said 'sure why not'; this escalated when he suggested to take the bus with him to Santa Monica, watch street performers, eat some food, and finally watch the movie.
Then he realizes that it's too much work and that it's better if I drink beer with him at his apartment and watch Netflix. I even bought a stout for him as a thank you gift for being a good TA buddy. But then he admits that alcohol affects him heavily.
PARTY FOUL! No one wants to take care of a drunk 28 year old!!!
So then I decided to stop responding back because: 1) I tried the stout and it was awful, 2) I didn't want to take care of a drunk 28 year old, 3) I realized that he probably wanted to do more than drink beer and watch a movie, and 4) Unfortunately, he is not Christian so he isn't in my radar.
So I didn't respond to him for about a week and I finally get an email from him Wednesday night at 11:36 PM saying, "could really use that beer about now."
*cough*cough*BOOTY CALL*cough*
Anyway Steph Fong, thank you for giving me that wonderful water bobble. It boosted my ego in ways that I can never predict.
Please do not pass this story along to my TA...
