Not About Me

Dear God,

Thank you for wisdom.
Whatever I write, I pray that it is not me.
None of this surpassing knowledge of Christ is me or can ever be me.
I'm just a broken, wretched sinner that abides in her powerful Father.
I don't want to write in a blog that screams TAYLOR MARK.
This was never meant to proclaim MY glory.
It should never be about me.
Let this blog be your instrument.
Let the men and women who read this blog hear your sweet music.
Let the sweet music of your glory encourage and build up your children.
Remind your children who you are.
You are the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.
Your glory speaks for itself.
You technically don't need us to speak for you.
But somehow, you use unqualified sinning humans to proclaim your glory.
I don't understand how someone so magnificent can love someone so insignificant as me.
Somehow, you turn a speck of dust into a light of the world.
That is the power of your steadfast love.
Let your love overflow into everyone that accepts you as their Savior.
Remind more specks of dust who you are and who they are because of you.
They are the lights of the world.
Not because they deserve it.
But because they are loved by you and accept your love.
They are beloved.
Your beloved.

In Your Name I Pray,
Amen.
