Looking Up

Last weekend, I visited UCLA for the sake of my sanity. I missed them way too much. After hanging out with a friend, we walked across the hallway on the first floor. As we were conversing, I heard a voice. It came from the fourth floor of the apartment complex.

"TAYLOR!"

I looked up and I saw Jon Lim. I squealed and was so excited! I giggled and walked backwards to get out of his view.

I heard more voices from the same floor. I get out of hiding to see who they were. It was Josh Chen and Winston. By now, I'm so happy that I was crying. I try to cover my eyes from their view so they can't see it.

Then I heard Ryan call my name and I looked up.

By then, I was ballistic. I'm bawling with joy.

I took the elevator up and gave them all a hug!

At the moment, I couldn't understand why I was so happy. There were so many happy feelings at once, so I wasn't able to pinpoint it at first.

But then I thought of heaven. After I leave this world and enter through the gates of heaven, I can't imagine the surpassing joy of seeing all my friends! We will all glorify God for the rest of our eternal lives.

This event gave me a preview of the joy I'll have when we great each other in heaven.
