God is Creative

In 6th Grade, I had to make a Big Bang Theory or Creation mini picture booklet. On the day it was due, I forgot all about it. Luckily, I had an idea of what Sunday School taught me about the Creation, so I did it during lunch. It took 10 minutes or less, so looked horrible. I was quite surprised when I got a B for it. Sunday School paid off!!

The point I'm trying to make is that people are very familiar with the Creation story.

After you read Genesis 1, you get the idea that God is an artist. God allowed everything to exist in His perfect timing. 

The same applies to us. God is creative in our lives. Creativity stems from more than just a logic and order. If I reflect on all the greatest things that happened to me the past years, they were all random! I joined AACF because I met some random guy who persistently invited me out! I took up pole dancing because I saw a Groupon. Moments like these are placed in our lives by God. He allows things to happen because He writes our life stories. 

After many months of trying to control my life, I lost control of everything. But I'm learning from my mistakes. The more I let go and give my life to God, I am more at peace. It's still a struggle and will always be a struggle. 

An author cannot finish typing his novel if his computer keeps shutting down. Stop resisting God from writing your life because it is more beautiful than you can imagine. God creates art, and therefore your life will be art if you let Him take over.
